This privacy policy describes how the WRide.ly website and related application (the “Site”, “we” or “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects the personal information that we collect through this Site. Wride has established this Site to link up users who need something shipped or delivered (“Customers”) with individuals who will provide the shipping and delivery services (“Couriers”) or teams of affiliated Couriers (“Teams”). This policy also applies to any mobile applications that we develop for use with our services and Team specific pages on the Site, and references to this “Site”, “we” or “us” is intended to also include these mobile applications. Please read below to learn more about our information practices. By using this Site, you agree to these practices.

1. Data Collection

(i) User Data: Our Services enable customers and their personnel, as well as any other individual, to easily book and manage their business or personal ground travel and deliveries. WRide collects and generates the following types of personal data relating to such business or individual users –

  • User profile information (name, e-mail address, mobile phone number, saved addresses, and, where applicable, hashed password);
  • Orders, transactions and ride/delivery details (ride and delivery orders, pick-up and drop-off data, route, GPS location of mobile device, contact details for delivery sender and recipient, proof of delivery (which may include the time, location, name and signature of the person who accepted the delivery, as well as a photo of the delivered item and the location where it was left), payment method, invoices and transaction history, ride/delivery preferences, and additional details provided by the user with respect to the order);
  • Rider, driver and courier ratings (as submitted by the user or its driver/courier, respectively);
  • Usage information (connectivity, technical and aggregated usage data and activity logs, log-in and log-out time, user agent, IP addresses, device and mobile app data (like type, OS, device id, app version, browser version, locale, time-zone and language settings used), session recordings and analytics, and the cookies and pixels installed or utilized on their device);
  • Direct interactions and communications with us (including recordings and transcripts of your calls, e-mails, form submissions and chats with us, e.g., for customer service, user enablement, feedback, support, training, record-keeping and legal-related purposes).

(ii) Driver Data: Our Services enable taxi drivers – either operating independently or as part of our partner fleets – to easily accept taxi rides and delivery orders. WRide collects and generates the following types of personal data relating to such drivers and couriers –

  • driver/courier information (name, e-mail address, mobile phone number, hashed password, subscription forms and details, ID, driver and taxi licenses, vehicle details, profile picture and submitted hobby);
  • fleet account information (where applicable: company name, account classification and commercial terms);
  • billing and financial details (where applicable: bank account and related payment details, invoices and transaction history, tax forms);
  • orders, transactions and ride/delivery details (ride and delivery orders accepted and performed, pick-up and drop-off data, route, GPS location of mobile device, contact details for delivery sender and recipient, ride/delivery preferences and availability, and additional details provided by the driver/courier in the course of their use of the Services);
  • rider, driver and courier ratings (as submitted by the driver/courier or the users, respectively);
  • usage information (connectivity, technical and aggregated usage data and activity logs, log-in and log-out time, user agent, IP addresses, device and mobile app data (like type, OS, device id, app version, browser version, locale, time-zone and language settings used), session recordings and analytics, and the cookies and pixels installed or utilized on their device);
  • direct interactions and communications with us (including recordings and transcripts of your calls, e-mails, form submissions and chats with us, e.g., for customer service, user enablement, feedback, support, training, record-keeping and legal-related purposes).

(iii) WRide Sites usage, CRM & Prospect Data: We collect and generate the following types of personal data concerning our website visitors, customers, partners and prospects –

  • WRide Sites usage information (connectivity, technical and aggregated usage data, such as user agent, IP addresses, device data (like type, OS, device id, browser version, locale and language settings used), activity logs, session recordings, and the cookies and pixels installed or utilized on our Sites and/or their device);
  • Business account information (contact, contractual and billing details concerning our business customers and partners, which may also contain the details of their internal focal persons who directly engage with WRide on behalf of their organization, e.g. the account administrators, billing contacts and authorized signatories on behalf of the customer or partner; as well as the needs and preferences of the customer or partner, as identified to us or recognized through our engagement with them);
  • Information concerning our prospects (contact and business details, our communications with such customers and prospects (correspondences, call and video recordings, call transcripts, and analyses thereof), as well as any needs, preferences, attributes and insights relevant to our potential engagement).

2. Data Uses:

Why do we use your Personal Data?

We use your Personal Data for the purposes of customer services and administration, the provision of travel related information, customer research and fraud prevention. We use it to make your mobility easier, provide you with simplified automatic entry, alerts based on your journeys, services located where you live and work and promotion

We shall not use your Personal Data other than for the purpose stated above. We do not share customer Personal Data other than the mentioned usages and with any third parties and unless as required by applicable law and regulations or competent courts.

Access to your Personal Data?

We use security measures to protect your personal data against manipulation, loss, destruction, as well as unwarranted access to your data. This includes having appropriate technical and organizational arrangements to secure your information when it is collected, processed and stored by us or on our behalf.

Use of Contact List Access:

WRide includes a feature that enables users to access their contact list and select a number for initiating calls. It's important to clarify that we do not collect, store, or retrieve any contact list information from our users' devices. However, to facilitate the user experience, our application does utilize access to the contact list. The primary purpose of accessing the contact list is to conveniently display it to users, allowing them to efficiently initiate calls. It's imperative to emphasize that we maintain a strict policy of not sharing this contact list information with any third parties.

Purpose and Intent:

Our motivation behind incorporating this feature is to enhance the user experience by simplifying the process of making calls directly from the application. Rest assured, no contact list data is extracted, compiled, or used for any purpose other than the aforementioned convenience.

User Control and Privacy:

We are committed to respecting user privacy and providing them with control over their data. If users are uncomfortable with our application accessing their contact list, they retain the option to revoke this access. This can be achieved by adjusting the privacy settings on their respective devices. By doing so, users can manage their data-sharing preferences in alignment with their personal choices.

3. Data Location & Retention:

Data Location: Your personal data may be maintained, processed and stored by us and our authorized Service Providers in multiple locations, including in the United Kingdom (“UK”), Israel, the United States and Ireland, as reasonably necessary for the proper performance and delivery of our Services, or as may be required by applicable law.

While privacy laws may vary between jurisdictions, WRide, its affiliates and Service Providers are each committed to protecting personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy, customary industry standards, and such appropriate lawful mechanisms and contractual terms requiring adequate data protection – regardless of any lesser legal requirements that may apply in the jurisdiction to which such data is transferred.

Data Retention: We will retain your personal data for as long as it is reasonably necessary for us to maintain and expand our relationship and provide you with our Services and offerings; in order to comply with our legal and contractual obligations; or to protect ourselves from any potential disputes (i.e., as required by laws applicable to log-keeping, records and bookkeeping, and in order to have proof and evidence concerning our relationship, should any legal issues arise following your discontinuance of use), all in accordance with our contractual terms and data retention policy.

Such service providers include hosting and server co-location services, communications and content delivery networks (CDNs), billing and payment processing services, data and cyber security services, fraud detection and prevention services, web and mobile analytics, e-mail, text messages and web/mobile notification distribution, monitoring and analytics services, data optimization and marketing services, social and advertising networks, content providers, e-mail, voicemails, support and customer relations management systems, call and session recording services, and our legal, financial and compliance advisors (collectively, “Service Providers“). Our Service Providers may have access to your personal data, depending on each of their specific roles and purposes in facilitating and enhancing our Services, and may only use it for such limited purposes as determined in our agreements with them.
  • Sharing data between Users and Driving Partners: In order to provide our Services, we share certain details about users (name, phone, ride start and end point, pick-up time and ride- or delivery-related details entered as free text) and drivers or couriers (name, phone, profile picture, rating, current location, time of arrival estimation, car type/brand and plate number, hobbies and similar information) with each other.
  • Customers and their Users: We share certain personal data with the business customer owning the account to which you are subscribed as a user (if applicable) – including data and communications concerning your use of the Services or other interactions with us, but only in relation to that business account. In such cases, sharing such data means that the account’s administrator(s) or other individuals in your organization may access it on behalf of our business customer, and will be able to monitor and review data concerning the rides or deliveries you ordered via our Services under such customer’s account, as well as access any personal data submitted by you or the individual for whom you ordered the ride or delivery.
  • billing and financial details (where applicable: bank account and related payment details, invoices and transaction history, tax forms);
  • Service Integrations: If so instructed or permitted by you or your organizational account administrator, we may share your User Data (such as your user profile information, business account information, and relevant usage information) with the provider(s) of any third-party applications or integrations added to your account, or receive certain relevant data from your account on the third-party provider’s service, depending on the nature and purpose of such integration. Note that we do not receive or store your personal password for any of these third-party services (but do typically require your organization’s API credentials in order to integrate with them).
  • Event Partners: If you register for any event that we host, organize or sponsor, then with your permission we may share your registration details with others, including the hosts, organizers, speakers, service providers, and sponsors of that event, so that they may contact you with relevant information and offers, or to fulfill any promotions related to that event.
  • Legal Compliance: In exceptional circumstances, we may disclose or allow government and law enforcement officials access to your personal data, in response to a subpoena, search warrant or court order (or similar requirement), or in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Such disclosure or access may occur if we believe in good faith that: (a) we are legally compelled to do so; (b) disclosure is appropriate in connection with efforts to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding actual or suspected illegal activity, fraud, or other wrongdoing; or (c) such disclosure is required to protect the security or integrity of our Services.
  • Protecting Rights and Safety: We may share your personal data with others if we believe in good faith that this will help protect the rights, property or personal safety of WRide, any of our users, partners or customers, or any member of the general public.
  • WRide Subsidiaries and Affiliated Companies: We may share personal data internally within our group of companies, for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. In addition, should WRide or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates undergo any change in control or ownership, including by means of merger, acquisition or purchase of substantially all or part of its assets, your personal data may be shared with the parties involved in such an event. If we believe that such change in control might materially affect your personal data then stored with us, we will notify you of this event and the choices you may have via e-mail or prominent notice on our Services.

For the avoidance of doubt, WRide may share your personal data in additional manners, pursuant to your explicit approval, or if we are legally obligated to do so, or if we have successfully rendered such data non-personal and anonymous.

We and our hosting services implement systems, applications and procedures to secure your personal data, and to reduce the risks of theft, damage, loss of data, or unauthorized access or use of personal data. These measures provide sound industry-standard security. However, please be aware that regardless of any security measures used, we cannot and do not guarantee that the Services will be immune from any wrongdoings, malfunctions, unlawful interceptions or access, or other kinds of abuse and misuse.

Session And Persistent Cookies

As is commonly done on websites, we may use cookies and similar technology to keep track of our users and the services they have elected. Registered WRide Users

When you register on our Site or App, you will create a user name and profile. Your user name and profile will be accessible by the users of our Site. With your prior permission, we may also share information about your use of the service on third party sites. For example, we may allow you to elect to share information about the services we provide through this site as updates to your Facebook or Twitter accounts.

If you post a job as a Customer, we may publish the address of the pickup and drop off locations on the Site, viewable by all WRide Teams or Couriers. For example, if you choose to post a job to the Site for a specific Team, we will publish the address of the pickup and drop off locations on the Site or App, viewable to that specific Team.

7. Generic Information/Financial Information

We collect Your Personal Information or Contact Information & Photos on your registration and making a ride. In case of an individual, We collect information with respect to Your name, email, mobile,address, IP address, etc. Based on Your Subscription plan, We collect Your credit/debit card details or other bank account details. This information is also made available to our payment gateway partners and is governed by the privacy policy of such payment gateway partners.

We collect information in order to provide You with a safe, efficient, smooth, and customized experience. This allows Us to provide services and features that most likely meet Your needs, and to customize the Cloud Services by providing You a dashboard with Your branding and/or logo.

Except as provided herein, We do not solicit any Sensitive Information about You. However, if You share such information with Us voluntarily, We will not be liable for any actions, claims, costs, expenses, or other liabilities that may arise as a consequence of any such unauthorized use or misuse of such information.

If You choose to post messages in Our chat rooms or other message areas or leave feedback, We will collect that information You provide to Us. We retain this information as necessary to resolve disputes, provide customer support, and troubleshoot problems as permitted by law.

Address Book Contacts. You may set your device permissions to grant tyt access to your contact lists and direct to access your contact list for create a SOS and that send to your emergency contacts, for example to help you refer friends to tyt. If you do this, we will access and store the names and contact information of the people in your address book.

We identify and use Your IP address to help identify Your geographic location and to administer the Cloud Services.

As clearly described in the Cookie Policy of WRide, we use cookies and the like (e.g., device identifiers, web beacons, and pixels) to recognize you and/or your device(s) on, off and across different devices.

You will always have an option not to provide certain information and can choose to opt out of the provision of certain information.

We use the Internet protocol address, browser type, browser language, referring URL, files accessed, errors generated, time zone, operating system, and other visitor details collected in our log files to analyze the trends, administer the website, track visitor's movements, and to improve our website. We link this automatically collected data to other information We collect about you.

Testimonials

We may allow you to submit testimonials about your experience with our Site. If you provide a testimonial, we may post it on this website along with your name. If you want your testimonial removed, please contact us at support@wride.ly.

Ratings And Reviews

If you are a Customer, you will be able to rate and review a driver. If you choose to submit a rating, this will be aggregated with other ratings and available to other registered users of the Site. If you submit a review, your review along with your user name will be posted for everyone to see.

Anonymous Data

We use the anonymous data that we collect on an aggregate basis to gain a better understanding of the visitors to our Site and to improve our website and product offerings. We reserve the right to license or sell this aggregated information to third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling and other purposes, but this information will not contain your individually identifiable personal information.

Referrals

We may also provide you with the opportunity to refer a potential customer to our WRide services and earn a commission on the referral. To take advantage of this opportunity, you will need to provide WRide with the e-mail address of the potential customer. We will include your name in the promotional message that we send the potential customer, but will always give the potential customer the option to decline any future promotional messages.

Of course, we will not share recipient or potential customer contact information with other third parties for their marketing purposes. We may, however, share the recipient or potential customer contact information with Teams or Super Teams for the purpose of performing the delivery services.

Disclosure of Personal Information with Third Parties

We may disclose Personal Information to affiliates and group companies. We may also disclose Your Personal Information to third parties strictly on confidential terms. We may disclose such information to third parties in order to provide You access to Cloud Services, to comply with Our legal obligations, to enforce Our Terms of Use, to facilitate Our marketing and advertising activities, or to prevent, detect, mitigate, and investigate fraudulent or illegal activities using the Cloud Server.

We will always take Your express consent at the time of sharing Your Personal Information with third parties for their marketing and advertising purposes. Notwithstanding the aforesaid, We retain Our right to share Your Personal Information with any of Our affiliates or group companies for the purpose of promoting other WRide products offered by Our other businesses or by Our affiliates and group companies.

We may also disclose Your Personal Information if We, in the good faith, believe that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes.

When you use your mobile device to access/avail our service or visit our site for interaction and information, we may receive information about your mobile device, including the hardware models, device IP address, SDK versions, operating systems and versions, software, preferred language and country site, internet browser, unique device identifiers, advertising identifiers, serial numbers and mobile network information. We may also inject markers in driver app through storage access in order to prevent polymorphism.

We and our service providers and third parties we collaborate with, including ad networks, may use cross-device/cross-context tracking. For example, you might use multiple browsers on a single device, or use various devices (such as desktops, smartphones, and tablets), which can result in you having multiple accounts or profiles across these various contexts and devices. Cross-device/cross-context technology may be used to connect these various accounts or profiles and the corresponding data from the different contexts and devices. Device information i.e. the devices you use (mobile phones, computers, tablets, etc.) to access our services such as the hardware models, operation system information, software information and version, file names, language preferences, IP address cookie information, advertising identifiers, browser version, device settings, and mobile network information. We may recognize your devices to provide you with personalized experiences and advertising across the services you use.
